You can now buy your property while you are at home, as the General Directorate of Land Registry and Real Estate Survey in Turkey has announced the facilitation of title deeds through the Internet.
The shadows of fear of the Coronavirus still surround the world, with its social, political, and economic aspects, which prompted people to adhere to the requirements of the quarantine that doctors emphasized, in the need to stay at home and not mix with people, in order to push for the catastrophe of its spread in societies, as the virus became killing thousands.
In view of these shadows that surrounded all aspects of life, the Turkish real estate sector has taken tangible steps to avoid the shadows of fear of the effects of the virus, especially after achieving positive sales figures during the first two months of this year.
These measures aimed to maintain the sales levels that recovered at the beginning of the year, through a series of measures to prevent the virus, while ensuring the continuation of real estate activity.
The first of these measures is the transformation of real estate marketing operations, whether internal or external, to digital media completely, through:
• Real estate marketing companies broadcast detailed visual scenes on the Internet and social media.
• Enhance communication with customers by answering all inquiries related to visual scenes.
• Informing clients of government developments related to promoting the real estate sector’s marketing operations on the Internet, such as the decision taken by the General Directorate of Land Registry in Turkey.
The General Directorate of Land Registry performs all transactions via the Internet:
After the spread of the new Coronavirus around the world, and the human and economic damage it caused, the General Directorate of Land Registry and Real Estate Survey in Turkey announced the conduct of title deeds through the (Web Tapu) system, starting from the eighteenth of March of this year 2020.
• Through this system, customers can submit requests for appointments in the directorate and accomplish what requires personal attendance.
• The Directorate has also allocated the number Alo-181 for submitting applications and conducting transactions.
Selçuk Hiçdurmaz, Chairman of the Board of a company operating in the real estate sector, stated that the General Directorate’s provision of the opportunity to complete transactions through the Internet and through the electronic taboo system will have a significant impact on facilitating sales transactions in light of the circumstances the world is witnessing these days, and it is a guarantee for the continuation of the qualitative leap in real estate sales, and at the same way.
